Schneider Children's Medical Center in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and military authorities, is preparing to receive the hostages who were released and returned to Israel

The new department is spacious and appropriately outfitted for the best comfort of children. Each family will be housed in a separate room according maximum privacy with fully-equipped washrooms and toilets. The department will have a kitchen, lounge, library, games corner, drawing and creative art supplies, and more, for the use of all the families.

Schneider's glass building was opened this year. With the outbreak of war, the Neonatal Department and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit were relocated in the glass building in the designated protected department, together with the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and the Dialysis Unit, which were moved into fortified areas.

The glass building was constructed according to the highest international standards and accords a different hospital experience both from the standpoint of the area and equipment as well as family privacy.
