The Institute of Ophthalmology at Schneider Children’s is the largest of its kind in Israel and handles about 10,000 visits annually. The skilled and experienced team specializes in the diagnosis of diseases of the retina, optic nerve and brain that reduce vision as well as disorders that cause double vision. The most advanced techniques are used for corrective procedures whether they be for retinal repair in a premature infant, fitting glasses to a child, or conducting cataract or glaucoma surgeries in toddlers.
